Where to find Payments in GRIN
The Payments area is where you review what you owe creators and send payments. The menu item and the page title are different names, which is the most common reason people cannot find it.
How to get there
In the top navigation, open Program and choose Payments.
The page that opens is titled Make Payments. There is no menu item called Make Payments, so if an older guide tells you to click Make Payments, look for Program > Payments instead.
What is on the Make Payments screen
The screen opens on the All Payables tab and lists one row per payable, with these columns:
- Contact
- Contract Amount
- Commission Amount
- Paid to Creator/Agent
- Balance Owed
- Payment Account Status
You also have Filters, Views, a search box and a Columns button to change which columns are shown.
Finding past payments
On the Make Payments screen, click Payment history in the top right. The breadcrumb then reads Payments > Payment History, and the table on that page is titled Payment Batches. You can search it by contact name and narrow it with Filters.
To go back, click Payments in the breadcrumb.
Why you may not see Payments in the menu
Program > Payments only appears when creator payments are enabled for your account. If the item is not in your Program menu, your account is not set up to pay creators through GRIN, and no amount of permissions will reveal it. Contact your Account Manager or write to support@grin.co to have it reviewed.
If you can see the menu item but the list is empty, there are simply no payables yet. The screen says No Payables Yet in that case.
