Using Report Builder
Report Builder is our powerful tool that can enable you to create a variety of different reports using combinations of columns and filters for each available data source.
What You'll Need
Depending on the data you are looking to build a report for, you need:
At least one Creator, Prospect, or Applicant added to the account (if viewing the Contacts data source).
At least one content piece delivered by a creator (if viewing the Content data source).
At least one recorded conversion from a creator (if viewing the Conversions data source).
At least one fulfillment order created in a Campaign (if viewing the Campaign Orders data source).
At least one fulfillment order created in an Activation (if viewing the Activations Orders data source).
At least one creator payment added, recorded, or processed (if viewing the Payments data source).
At least one program (Activation, Campaign, or Partnership) created in the account (if viewing the Program data source).
Note: If there isn't data for a source, the data source won't show on the drop-down selection at the top. For example, if you have no recorded conversions, Conversions won't show on the list of data sources.
How to Do It
Navigate to Reporting > Report Builder.
Click on the drop-down at the top.
Select a data source (see section below).
Click on Filters to the right (optional). This will slide out a menu to the right where you can:
Add any filters by clicking on the boxes below the filter name.
Add any Advanced Filters by clicking Add Field at the bottom.
Click Apply Filters (or click Clear All to remove all filters).
Click Columns in the bottom right (optional). This will slide out a menu to the right where you can:
Rearrange any of your displayed columns in the Displayed tab by clicking the column and dragging it above or below a filter. You can also click the arrows to the right to arrange these or click the Delete button to remove a column.
Add any available columns in the Available tab by checking the box to the left of the column.
Click Update Columns.
From here, you can save your report by clicking Save Report at the top.
You can also export your report to a CSV file by clicking Export in the bottom right.
Data Sources
A data source is from where the available data originates. Within Report Builder, you can view different data sources by using the drop-down selector at the top of the page. Our data sources for Report Builder include:
Content: Displays data for all content posts across Activations, Campaigns, and Partnerships.
Contacts: Displays all available data for Contacts (Creators, Prospects, and Applicants) added to GRIN.
Conversions: Displays all conversion data for Discount Codes and Affiliate Links.
Payments: Displays data for payments made to Influencers for Campaigns and Partnerships.
Activations Orders: Displays data for orders placed to your Ecommerce store for products sent to creators participating in Activations.
Campaign Orders: Displays data for orders placed to your Ecommerce store for products sent to creators participating in Campaigns.
Note: If you joined GRIN on January 23, 2023, or later, Campaigns will not be available for your account and have been replaced by Activations. You can use Activations to manage and organize your creator marketing programs.
