Updating Your Bank Account

Updated by Dan

If your bank details ever change, you'll also need to update that information on your Live Site so you can continue to receive payments to the correct account.

Note: GRIN pays creators by Bank Transfer. PayPal is no longer supported as a payout method and any PayPal details previously saved on your Live Site have been removed. If you have not added a bank account yet, see the Creator Payment Guide.

You can learn how to update your bank account below.

What You'll Need

  • An existing Bank Transfer payout method on your Live Site. For more information on setting up your payout method, see our help article Creator Payment Guide.

  • Your updated bank account details, including your account number or IBAN, any routing, BIC, or SWIFT information your bank requires, and the account holder name exactly as it appears on your bank statement.

How to Do It

1. Navigate to your Live Site > Payouts tab.

2. In the Payout Methods section, press the Edit (pencil) button next to the bank account you want to update.

3. Update the relevant fields, such as your account number or IBAN, routing details, or account holder name.

4. Click Save.

That's it! Your updated bank account should now appear in your Payout Methods section and show as Active.

Important: The account holder name must match your bank records and your tax form exactly, with no initials, and your bank account must be able to receive payments in the currency you selected. Payments sent to a mismatched account are likely to be returned by your bank.

Adding or Removing a Payout Method

To add another payout method, go to Live Site > Payouts and select + Add Payout Method.

To remove one, go to Live Site > Payouts and select the trash (Delete) icon next to the bank account you want to remove.

Note: If you remove your only active payout method, any new payments from your brand will not be processed until you add a new one. Payments may be refunded to your brand after 30 days if no payout method is active on your account.
